An early look.
The Ohio State Buckeyes just capped off a red-hot run through the College Football Playoff field, taking home the national title for the first time under Ryan Day. And just like that, we’re already turning the page to 2026.
Fanduel Sportsbook already has odds posted for next season, and Ohio State is once again favored to win it all. The Buckeyes, who will undoubtedly have to replace a ton of talent, are +450 to win it all again. They’re followed by Texas and Oregon (+650), both of whom Ohio State beat on their way to the title.
Georgia is fourth at +700 and Penn State is fifth at +850.
Tennessee checks in at No. 7 with +1800 odds, right behind Alabama. The Volunteers made their first playoff appearance this season, earning the No. 9 seed and getting an unlucky draw to go to Columbus and face the eventual national champs. Tennessee will return quarterback Nico Iamaleava, but must remake their offensive line and wide receiver room. They’ll also lose star players in edge rusher James Pearce and running back Dylan Sampson.
Tennessee is joined by several others from the SEC. LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M closely followed in the +2000 neighborhood, and then South Carolina checked in at +4000. Florida was next with +5000 odds.
