The second receiver so far in the class.
Tennessee picked up a commitment from another 2026 receiver late on Sunday night. Three-star prospect Tyran Evans announced his intentions to attend Tennessee, choosing the Volunteers over Florida, Miami, Florida State and several others.
Home sweet home to me.

The North Carolina native picked up his Tennessee offer in November and quickly took two visits to Knoxville. Evans was clearly sold early on by Tennessee, announcing his commitment just two months after the initial offer.
The 6-3 receiver blasted onto recruiting radars after putting up 14 touchdowns last fall playing for William Amos Hough High School in the Charlotte area. He averaged over 27 yards per catch during his breakout season. Evans currently ranks just outside of the top 500 prospects in the class of 2026 going into his senior year, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
One key note here — Tennessee is also targeting one of Evans’ teammates, Samari Matthews, who is a top 100 overall cornerback prospect.
Evans joins four-star receiver Tyreek King in Tennessee’s 2026 class. The Volunteers now hold seven commitments in that group, led by No. 1 overall player Faizon Brandon.
