Alabama fans gave it to Tennessee shortly before the final whistle blew to end Saturday’s game.
Some Crimson Tide fans were seen lighting cigars in the stands with less than two minutes to go in the fourth quarter. At the time, the Tide were up by 14 (34-20) and that’s how it would officially end.
Alabama fans smoking on that Tennessee pack

This is a reversal from last year when Vols fans were smoking victory cigars on the field after a massive upset win at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville.
The winner of this game gets to smoke celebratory cigars, a tradition that started in 1961.
The Tide were able to score 27 unanswered points to win this matchup after trailing 20-7 at halftime. Their red zone defense was tremendous and quarterback Jalen Milroe was able to make enough plays on offense to complete the comeback.
They’re now 7-1 overall and 5-0 in SEC play heading into their bye week. As long as they win out, they’ll be in the SEC Championship Game (likely against the Georgia Bulldogs) and will be playing for a spot in the College Football Playoff.
