Though it’s hard to believe, Alabama is in serious jeopardy of suffering its second loss of the season before October even comes to a close.
Alabama currently trails 20-7 to Tennessee at halftime. This is a shocking result considering the Crimson Tide are at home.
So, what’s going wrong for Alabama? For starters, Nick Saban’s defense has not been able to get Tennessee quarterback Joe Milton out of his comfort zone. He already has 175 passing yards, 43 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Another issue for Alabama is its inability to run the football on offense. The Crimson Tide have 16 rushing yards on 17 attempts.
Turnovers have also been a problem for Alabama. Milroe has one interception and one fumble through two quarters. He’ll need to take better care of the football.

The good news for Alabama is that it’ll receive the football to start the second half. A touchdown drive to start the third quarter would certainly swing moment in the Crimson Tide’s favor.
Tennessee, on the other hand, is hoping to secure back-to-back wins over Alabama for the first time since 2003-04.
The second half of this game will resume on CBS.
