Caleb Wilson, the 6-foot-10 five-star Class of 2025 jumbo wing from Holy Innocents Episcopal School in Atlanta, visited Tennessee this past weekend and enjoyed it.
“The visit was great,” he told ZAGSBLOG. “I really loved their campus and enthusiasm towards athletics.”
He added: “Their message is me playing a wing/guard position and [getting] high level athletic development.”
His father, Jerry, added: “Caleb really enjoyed his time in Knoxville on Saturday. Rick Barnes is a legend, and I can see exactly why. The experience and dedication to detail in the player’s development are very impressive. Rick, GP, and everyone we encountered from his staff seems to be locked in on making Tennessee a powerhouse. It was really cool to spend some time with Rick and get to know that he would have no problem helping my son, to be his best. I see why they’re a Top-ranked team headed into the season.
In addition to a trip to Kentucky for Big Blue Madness (Oct. 14), Wilson will also visit Stanford (Oct. 20), Auburn (Oct. 28) and North Carolina (Nov. 11). He also already visited Alabama and plans to visit Duke.
“I want to be very thorough in the decision-making process,” Jerry said.
