Joshua Dobbs made a friendly bet with Arizona Cardinals teammate D.J. Humphries for the Florida-Tennessee Game last weekend.
Dobbs was hoping to win it but after Florida beat Tennessee in Gainesville, he had to pay up. It’s why he met with the media in a Florida shirt on Thursday.

Dobbs played at Tennessee from 2013-16 before he was picked by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the fourth round of the 2017 NFL Draft. During those four seasons in Knoxville, Dobbs completed 61.5% of his passes for 7,138 yards and 53 touchdowns.
He only beat Florida once during his four years there and it came as a senior in 2016.
He then spent a few seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers before bouncing around to the Titans and now the Cardinals. He’s starting while Kyler Murray continues to recover from his knee injury.
In two games thus far, Dobbs has thrown for 360 yards and one touchdown.
