Another road test.
No. 4 Tennessee hits the road again tonight to face the Arkansas Razorbacks. It will be their second straight road test, following a win at Oklahoma two weeks ago. The Volunteers did have a bye week in between, giving them a chance to get healthy ahead of the most important part of their schedule.
Both starting offensive tackles — Lance Heard and John Campbell — are expected to be back tonight.
Tennessee will face an improved Arkansas team, led by Boise State transfer quarterback Taylen Green. With the help of Bobby Petrino, Green has infused life into this Arkansas offense with both his arm and his legs.
“Everybody has to be disciplined when he starts to scramble,” Tennessee defensive coordinator Tim Banks said. “He’s really made some plays down the field. He’s athletic enough to break contain and go for 80, but he’s also got a strong arm that he can throw it 80, so we’ve just got to do a good job.”
Tennessee is favored by nearly two touchdowns.
