Lady Vols up to No. 11
Tennessee ripped off its fourth straight win on Sunday, coming back to beat Florida, 86-78. The Lady Vols put up 37 points in the third quarter, which made all the difference. Tennessee moved to No. 11 in the latest AP poll on Monday.
ESPN’s Charlie Creme has the Lady Vols as a No. 4 seed today. Just two regular season games remain on the schedule — at Kentucky and home against Georgia. Tennessee is currently the No. 8 seed in the SEC women’s basketball tournament, but they could move up to as high as the No. 5 depending on results from this final week of play.
Recruiting: 2026 WR1 Tristen Keys sets Tennessee visit
The top-ranked receiver prospect in the class of 2026 will take a visit to Knoxville this spring. Keys will see Tennessee on March 10th, which will be the first of four visits for the touted receiver. LSU, Michigan and Texas A&M will follow. The 6-2 prospect is out of Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Having the No. 1 quarterback in the cycle already committed can’t hurt here.
Tennessee baseball vs. North Alabama today
The No. 1 ranked team in the land has one final home game today before they head off to Houston this weekend. Tennessee will take on North Alabama this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. ET. The game will stream on SEC Network+ and the ESPN app.
Tennessee basketball at LSU tonight
No. 5 Tennessee is back on the road tonight, set to face LSU. The Tigers are just 3-11 in conference play, but as we’ve seen before, road tests are always tough. Tennessee has opened as a 10.5 point favorite. The Volunteers are looking to keep pace tonight as they cling to the final bye in the SEC Tournament.
Oh, and a big one looms on Saturday as Alabama comes to town. So Tennessee is coming off of a huge win at Texas A&M, on the road, in a lookahead spot? Be careful.
Tip-off is set for 9 p.m. ET.
