Saturday is the Third Saturday in October, which means it’s time for Tennessee-Alabama.
The Volunteers are looking for back-to-back wins over the Crimson Tide for the first time since 2004. Tennessee snapped its 15-game losing streak to Alabama last season in Knoxville.
Tennessee legend Peyton Manning joined “The Pat McAfee Show” on Thursday, and during his segment he touched on the matchup in Tuscaloosa this weekend.
Naturally, he used his trademark dry humor to do some trolling of the Tide.
“It’s funny. I can’t think of the last time that Alabama has beaten us. We obviously took care of business last year. The series has been so one-sided since 2022,” Manning said, via Tennessee beat writer Ric Butler.

Peyton went 3-1 against Alabama in his career, winning three straight after a 17-13 loss in his freshman campaign in 1994. He’s earned the right to do some jabbing.
The 17th-ranked Volunteers and 11th-ranked Crimson Tide will face off at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday from Bryant-Denny Stadium.
The game will be broadcast on CBS.
