Should be a really fun weekend.
The SEC Tournament is off and rolling in Nashville, this time for the first time ever as a 16-team conference. The expanded bracket has games starting earlier on Wednesday, with Arkansas already picking up the first win of the day over South Carolina.
Oklahoma, Texas and Arkansas entered the week with some work to do as the SEC trying to jam in as many teams possible into the NCAA Tournament. ESPN currently projects 13 bids for the conference.
Auburn, despite sputtering down the stretch a bit, enters as the favorite. Florida checks in at the No. 2 spot, while Alabama and Tennessee are distant thirds and fourths.
Tennessee last won the SEC Tournament back in 2022. They were quickly bounced out of this event last year by Mississippi State. The Volunteers are currently projected as a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament, but they’ll have at least a shot to get back on the one-line with a few wins this weekend.
