A tricky spot.
Tennessee has run the gauntlet in the SEC, now they get a road trip to Oklahoma, who is just 3-6 in conference play after breezing through non-conference play unscathed.
Seems easy enough, right? After all, Tennessee is coming off a stretch consisting of Mississippi State, Auburn, Kentucky, Florida and Missouri.
It’s a classic trap spot on the road, with a trip to Kentucky up next. Be careful.
Oklahoma has won their last two home games against Vanderbilt and South Carolina by 30 and 20 points, respectively. The Sooners are led by senior forward Jalon Moore, who averages 17.9 points per game. Duke Miles and Brycen Goodine can fill it up from deep, each shooting over 44 percent from the three-point line.
Tennessee is up to No. 4 in KenPom. Oklahoma has slid to No. 35 since conference play began, now sitting squarely on the bubble of the NCAA Tournament. The Sooners need this one badly. Tennessee does as well as they look to grab that final No. 1 seed.
