A look at the injury situation.
Tennessee appears set to get back a key player that has missed the past few games due to injury. DeSean Bishop, who quickly emerged as Tennessee No. 2 running back and a key part of the rotation, has not been listed on either injury report so far this week.
Bishop last appeared against Kentucky on November 2nd. He’s rushed 54 times for 372 yards this season, averaging 6.9 yards per carry. Dylan Sampson picked up the slack in his absence, along with true freshman Peyton Lewis.
Tennessee listed defensive end Jordan Ross, defensive back Christian Charles and offensive lineman Jackson Lampley as questionable for Saturday.

The Volunteers moved up to No. 8 in this week’s College Football Playoff rankings. Their path is now extremely simple — win and you’re in. A solid Vanderbilt team stands in the way, however. Quarterback Diego Pavia has changed the program this year, leading the Commodores to six wins, including one at home over Alabama.
Tennessee will have their hands full on Saturday. The Volunteers are 10.5 points favorites in this tricky spot, coming down from 12 points earlier in the week.
Kickoff is set for noon ET on ABC on Saturday.
