The first official injury report ever.
For the first time ever, Tennessee released an official injury report on Wednesday night. The SEC is now forcing teams to released an injury report, following the Big Ten’s move last season. With gambling become so mainstream now, having accurate and up to date injury information has become a must — hence the new policy.
Tennessee breezed by Kent State last week, holding a couple of players out entirely out of an abundance of caution. The most important one was left tackle Lance Heard, who is listed as questionable this week. One note here is that running back Cam Seldon does not appear on the report after missing two straight games.
For the Sooners, they appear set to get back two key pieces of their offense. Nic Anderson, who has yet to play after putting up 798 receiving yards last season, is listed as probable. Andrel Anthony, another key receiver, appears set to play.
