Tennessee football fans are fired up for the upcoming college football season to start.
The Vols have over 70,000 season tickets purchased for this season, which passed their goal of 61,000 by a long shot. There was also a 96% renewal rate, so the fans that had season tickets last year didn’t want to give them up.
Considering how the team did last season, it’s no wonder that fans are ready for more. The Vols finished the 2022 season with an 11-2 record and a win in the Orange Bowl.
It was the first time they had 10+ wins in a season since 2007 when Phillip Fulmer was the head coach.
This upcoming season will be Josh Heupel’s third season at the helm after taking over the program in 2021.
He has an 18-8 overall record and is hoping to lead the program to even bigger heights when this season starts.
