The 2024 NCAA Baseball Tournament is heating up on Sunday night – in more ways than one.
Tennessee, a top seed in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, is taking on Southern Miss in a one-sided elimination game at the Knoxville NCAA regional final. If Tennessee wins, Southern Miss is eliminated and the Vols will advance to the Super Regionals. However, if Tennessee loses, there will be a winner-take-all elimination game on Monday.
The Vols’ crowd is going all-out for his one.
Tennessee’s popular mascot, Smokey, is flashing the Southern Miss pitcher from the crowd.

That’s extreme, but at least it’s just a mascot in a costume.
Southern Miss is currently leading Tennessee, 3-2, halfway through Sunday night’s game. The Southern Miss offense notched a big fifth inning when they got a two-run double from Ozzie Pratt.
Nate Snead has taken over on the mound for the Volunteers moving forward in this one.
The game between Tennessee and Southern Miss is airing on the SEC Network.
