“[I chose Vanderbilt] because the staff is very genuine,” Dean-Vines told ZAGSBLOG. “They really care and want me to be there to develop and play with them. They make me feel wanted.”
Dean-Vines is one of the best athletes in the 2025 class. He’s very bursty and has thrown down some vicious dunks this summer. At Peach Jam playing in the PIT, Dean-Vines averaged 8.6 points, 2.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game. He shot 49% from the field and helped Team Griffin to the PIT title.

Dean-Vines has become Vanderbilt and head coach Mark Byington’s first commit in the 2025 class.
“They’re getting a PLAYER that is ready to help win,” Dean-Vines said.
