London Jemison, a top-40 player in the Class of 2025, took the first of six scheduled official visits to Vanderbilt this past weekend.
“The visit was great,” the 6-foot-7 forward out of St. Thomas More (CT) and Expressions Elite AAU told ZAGSBLOG.
“They set the bar high and their message was that they would let me play and won’t box me in to a corner, let me be myself out there use ball screens and play through mistakes.”
New Vanderbilt coach Mark Byington went 32-4 last season at James Madison and led the Dukes to a win over then-No. 4 Michigan State during the regular season. JMU reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament, losing to Duke.

Next up Jemison will visit: Kansas (Aug. 29-31), Alabama (Sept. 6-9), Louisville (Sept. 13-15) and Virginia (Sept. 27-29).
He is ranked the No. 37 overall prospect in the 2025 class by 247Sports and the No. 11 power forward.
“I think I’m a high level wing,” Jemison said. “I can do multiple things, shoot, pass, dribble, create, rebound pretty well too, run the floor. I’m just a versatile wing that can guard one-through-four. I can do whatever you need on the court, bringing whatever coach needs for sure.”
