This Saturday’s matchup between Vanderbilt and Wake Forest is officially in a weather delay.
The officials stopped the game with around 13 minutes left in the first quarter due to lightning in the area.
Wake Forest was facing a third and goal from Vanderbilt’s six-yard line before the game was put on hold.

Unfortunately, Wake Forest’s official social media account didn’t have much to say about this situation.

Wake Forest has excellent field position at the moment because junior defensive back Malik Mustapha intercepted a pass from AJ Swann and returned it 50 yards.
We’ll see if Vanderbilt can hold Wake Forest to a field goal once this game eventually resumes.
The Commodores entered Allegacy Federal Credit Union Stadium as 7-point underdogs.
This weekend’s game between Vanderbilt and Wake Forest is being televised on ACC Network.
