The 2025 NFL Draft currently has two AFC South teams picking at the top
It seems that most of the fanbase cares more about where the Tennessee Titans will pick in the 2025 NFL Draft than what happens on the field for the rest of the season. It is hard to blame anyone for feeling that way. Will Levis and the offense have looked better the last two weeks, but they still cannot get out of the teens as far as points scored. They just aren’t fun to watch.
Where would the Titans pick in the draft if the season ended today?
The Titans currently hold the second overall pick. The Jacksonville Jaguars are 2-9, which puts them percentage points ahead of the Titans. The Titans still have two games remaining with the Jaguars, so a lot will change between now and the end of the season.
Current 2025 NFL Draft order for teams not in the playoffs
- Jacksonville Jaguars 2-9
- Tennessee Titans 2-8
- Cleveland Browns 2-8
- Las Vegas Raiders 2-8
- New York Giants 2-8
- New England Patriots 3-8
- New York Jets 3-8
- Carolina Panthers 3-7
- Dallas Cowboys 3-6
- New Orleans Saints 4-7
- Cincinnati Bengals 4-7
- Miami Dolphins 4-6
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers 4-6
- Chicago Bears 4-6
- Indianapolis Colts 5-6
- Seattle Seahawks 5-5
- Los Angeles Rams 5-5
- San Francisco 49ers 5-5
Where will the Titans end up?
It is, of course, impossible to say right now. There are currently five teams with two wins and five teams with three wins. A win here or there down the stretch could change things drastically. It’s hard to see the Titans winning more than two or three more games at the most, so if you are into cheering for the draft spot, you should be cheering for the teams around them to win each week. That starts tonight with rooting for the Cowboys to upset the Houston Texans. A Dallas win would also make it more likely the Texans have something to play for when they play the Titans in week 18.
