The Titans will get an up close look at the offensive linemen
It has just been announced that Tennessee Titans offensive line coach Scott Fuchs will coach the National team’s offensive line at the 2025 Senior Bowl. The Titans will probably not be taking an offensive lineman in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, but they will certainly be looking to add at least an offensive tackle later in the draft. Having Fuchs coach the offensive line will give them some really good information on the guys that are in Mobile.
This is the second key coaching assignment the Titans have landed in this draft process. The first was the announcement that Payton McCollum, the Titans assistant receivers coach, is the assistant quarterbacks coach for the East-West Shrine Bowl that features Shedeur Sanders, who is in the running to be the first quarterback taken in the draft.
The Titans scouting staff has already spent a lot of time scouting all of these guys throughout the last couple of years, but there is really no substitute for getting to spend extra time around draft prospects. Who knows, maybe if the Titans could have spent some time around Isaiah Wilson before they drafted him they might have known that he really didn’t have a desire to play football.
The festivities have already started for the East-West Shrine Bowl. The game takes place on January 30th. Senior Bowl practices start on January 28th. The game will take place on February 1st.
