The home of Titans cornerback Caleb Farley exploded overnight in Mooresville, North Carolina.
The Titans confirmed Tuesday that Farley’s father, Robert, died in this tragic accident. He was 61 years old.
Aerial footage of Farley’s lakeside home was released this afternoon by Queen City News. The property was pretty much reduced to rubble due to the explosion.

Iredell County said Farley’s residence has been ruled a complete loss. His property was 6,300 square feet.
Neighbors in the area told Queen City News they heard a “loud explosion” around midnight on Monday. They also said they smelled gas.
“A loud boom, about five minutes to midnight,” a neighbor said. “A gorgeous house, in all respects, I can’t believe it.”
Farley was spotted at the scene Tuesday morning with his family. It’s unclear if he was at the house when the explosion occurred.
Our thoughts are with the Farley family at this time.
