Titans second-year wideout Treylon Burks was determined to make it to Tennessee for the start of the team’s OTAs.
So when Burks’ flight to Dallas was delayed, which would’ve forced him to miss his connecting flight to Nashville, the former first-round pick got creative.
According to NFL reporter Paul Kuharsky, Burks began by seeking out a rental car, but after finding out that every car in the area was leased out until Thursday, he turned to his agent, J.R. Carroll.

Five phone calls to private pilots later, Carroll was able to coordinate a small Cesna flight with a pilot by the name of Zach Davis who was willing to make the journey early Monday morning for the price of fuel and pilot’s time.
“As soon as the sun broke the horizon they took off for Nashville in this plane whose prop was smaller than Treylon’s wingspan,” Carroll joked. “Pilot said [Burks] slept the whole way and wasn’t the least bit nervous.”
