Everywhere you look around, you will find a ton of analysts speculating about the NFL draft. With the Tennessee Titans holding the first overall selection, everything appears to hinge on what they ultimately decide to do at that spot.
With a new organizational structure in place led by general manager Mike Borgonzi and team president Chad Brinker, there are a ton of unknowns at this point in the process. Player evaluations, the combine, interviews, pro days and visits still all have to take place. There is a lot to do.
Jim Wyatt recently caught up with NFL draft expert Dane Brugler to talk about the Titans and his thoughts on the 2025 NFL draft.

“It’s a power position, right. You have the number one position, you control the draft.” Brugler said. “This is an interesting year to have that number one pick.”
As Brugler stated in this piece, there are questions about this quarterback class and where it sits when compared to previous draft classes. Neither Cam Ward nor Shedeur Sanders seem to be generating the same amount of buzz as Caleb Williams or Jayden Daniels at this point. But the combine hasn’t taken place yet, so things can change in a flash.
The combination of the unknowns with the new front office and their intentions, coupled with the uncertainty of the quarterback prospects, does make this an interesting draft position for the Titans. Brugler continued with his take on that.
“Trading back seems like an appealing way to go unless you’ve fallen in love with one of the quarterbacks.” He told Wyatt.
That’s the million dollar question as you read this: How do they feel about the quarterbacks? Right now, before the combine, it’s impossible to know.
