Authorities in North Carolina have reportedly determined the cause of the recent home explosion that killed the father of Titans cornerback Caleb Farley.
According to WCNC Charlotte, the Iredell County Fire Marshal’s Office announced that the explosion was triggered by natural gas leak with “an unknown point of origin.”
Investigators also said that they believe it to be an accident. However, “the instability of the home’s remaining structure prevents them from investigating the cause and origin of the explosion.”
However, the origin point wasn’t able to be determined. https://t.co/cmiFAesNWt

Robert Farley died in the explosion while a family friend, who was also at the home, survived and was treated for a concussion.
Farley, who was in Tennessee at the time of the incident, reportedly rushed back to NC after receiving a call from a neighbor who told him what happened.
The former first-round pick also lost his mom to breast cancer in 2018. Nothing is left of the $2 million home.
