NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — And then there was one, just one winless team left.
Here’s Cory Curtis’ Week 5 NFL Power Rankings:
🏈 TITAN UP all season long with the latest news and notes on the Tennessee Titans
32. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-4) – Probably not the best idea to give $55 million a year to a quarterback completing 53% of his passes. I don’t know if it’s mechanics, footwork or just confidence, but he’s just missing.
31. Miami Dolphins (1-3) – When you score 12 points and beat your season average it’s a very bad sign.
30. Cleveland Browns (1-3) – Another team struggling mightily to put points on the board. They’ve scored 15, 16, 17 and 18 points. Again, be careful who you hand MASSIVE amounts of money to.
29. New England Patriots (1-3) – Broken record here, averaging 13 points per game, but hey at least they’re not paying Jacoby Brissett $55 million a year. Antonio Gibson is averaging 5.3 yards per carry and is probably warranting more carries.
28. Carolina Panthers (1-3) – They’re scoring points with the Red Rifle in at quarterback, but they’re still giving up over 32 per game. Last I looked, that is a problem, but you can’t bench the whole defense.
27. New York Giants (1-3) – How does Daniel Jones complete 29 of 40 for 281 yards and the Giants only manage to kick five field goals? Well, when you rush for 1.1 yards per carry it really bogs things down.
26. Tennessee Titans (1-3) – Brian Callahan finally gets in the win column and with a defense that ranks #1 in the NFL in yards per game (243), they will have a chance to win more if they can stop giving the ball away. At (-7) they have the worst turnover margin in the NFL.

25. Arizona Cardinals (1-3) – After lighting up the Rams, Kyler Murray has crashed back to Earth. The Cardinals have scored 13, 14 points in the last two games, and Grogu’s QBR has crashed mightily.
24. Los Angeles Rams (1-3) – The Rams are really struggling. When you lose two Pro Bowl receivers that can happen.
23. Las Vegas Raiders (2-2) – How bad are the Browns to lose to a Raiders team without Davante Adams and Max Crosby? This one is painful for me, but they’ve got two wins. So… whatever.
22. Cincinnati Bengals (1-3) – If they can upset the Ravens Sunday, they can get right back in the race.
21. Chicago Bears (2-2) – Good to see them get the run game going, but they need more than 51 combined yards from Moore, Allen and Odunze.
20. Indianapolis Colts (2-2) – I know Anthony Richardson is a freakish athlete, but with three fumbles already and another injury, maybe it’s time to not run him all over the field.
19. Denver Broncos (2-2) – 2nd ranked defense in the league with back-to-back road wins.
18. Atlanta Falcons (2-2) – We have blamed the quarterbacks for years, is it possible Kyle Pitts just is not who we thought he was?
17. Los Angeles Chargers (2-2) – Two wins against bad teams, two losses to good teams. That makes them mediocre.
16. Aaron Jets (2-2) – They have to get more production from Breece Hall and Garrett Wilson.
15. Dallas Cowboys (2-2) – With the Lions and 49ers looming, the Boys better elevate their play or they will be staring at 3-4 at best.
14. New Orleans Saints (2-2) – So, Davante Adams wants to be reunited with Derek Carr? Speaking for all Chris Olave fantasy owners, “Noooooooooooooooo!”
13. Philadelphia Eagles (2-2) – Saquan Barkely averaging 6.0 yards per carry, maybe until they get healthy should run their offense through him.
12. Pittsburgh Steelers (3-1) – Najee Harris with 13 carries for 19 yards. Was he wearing cinder blocks for cleats?
11. Green Bay Packers (2-2) – 2-0 vs. the AFC South, 0-2 against everyone else. Go figure.
10. Seattle Seahawks (3-1) – They won the schedule lottery. Seriously though, Kenneth Walker is a beast and Geno Smith is averaging almost 300 yards per game.
9. San Francisco 49ers (2-2) – So both of Christian McCraffrey’s achilles are hurting? Gallatin’s Jordan Mason continues to get it done at 4.9 yards per carry.
8. Washington Commanders (3-1) – Most shocking team in the league, and I know Jayden Daniels was the second pick but no one could have expected this level of efficiency. One punt in three games? That would be a joke if it wasn’t true.
7. Baltimore Ravens (2-2) – Derrick Henry has clearly lost a step. 199 yards? C’mon Derrick! (This is sarcasm).
6. Houston Texas (3-1) – Lackluster win over the Jags, but they got it done on both sides of the ball when it counted.
5. Tampa Bay Bucs (3-1) – The Baker Mayfield redemption tour continues, completing 70% of his passes and the Browns continue to write those checks to Deshaun Watson.
4. Detroit Lions (3-1) – Jared Goff goes 18 for 18 and does not earn the game ball. Dan Campbell is raising the bar in Motown!
3. Buffalo Bills (3-1) – Yes, I will accept their loss in Baltimore as a case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
2. Minnesota Vikings (4-0) – They have been dominant on both sides of the ball and I love this stat, they have three receivers AVERAGING 17 yards per catch.
1. Kansas City Chiefs (4-0) – Yes, they are back on top after a one week hiatus. It’s going to be interesting to see how Andy Reid navigates his way thru their injury situation.
