NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Better late than never gang, and the truth is… I forgot! However, I am getting it in under the wire!!!
Your Week 18 NFL Power Rankings…
🏈 TITAN UP all season long with the latest news and notes on the Tennessee Titans
Man, it really didn’t go our way this year- Teams 32 through 23 are in no particular order because they are all dreadful.
New England Patriots (3-13) – They think they have a QB, they just really don’t have anything else.
Tennessee Titans (3-13) – Desperately need more from the quarterback position, but where do they get it from?
New York Giants (3-13) – Who will be the head coach? Who will be the quarterback? Will Malik Nabers demand a trade? What on the spaceship works?
Jacksonville Jaguars (4-12) – Thank God for the Titans. Two of their four wins came against Tennessee, of course, they beat the Colts in Jacksonville.
New Orleans Saints (5-11) – Believe it or not, I think next year will be even worse for them.
Cleveland Browns (3-13) – I can not remember the last time I saw an NFL team be a 20 point underdog, but the Browns pulled it off this weekend! Congrats!!!
New York Jets (4-12) – Do they even want Aaron Rodgers back next year? And if it’s not Captain Darkness who are they going to get?
Las Vegas Raiders (4-12) – Another team that does not have a good answer to the QB situation next year. I do not think there are enough answers in the draft. If Sam Darnold is not re-signed by Minnesota he’s going to make a billion dollars.
Carolina Panthers (4-12) – Actually showing signs of life, but still terrible.
Chicago Bears (4-12) – They were 4-2, seriously. They have lost 10 games in a row!!!!!!!! Of all of these horrible teams I believe the Bears have the roster and the best chance at a quick turnaround with legit leadership.

Real teams, just not very good ones…
22. Indianapolis Colts (7-9) – How long will the NFL hang on to this fantasy that the Colts are legit contenders? Pat McAfee is clearly jumping ship. How on Earth did they give up 45 points to the Drew Locke?
21. Dallas Cowboys (7-9) – Tough go without your quarterback, but looks like a team in need of some new direction.
20. San Francisco 49ers (6-10) – Easily the most disappointing team in the NFL this season.
19. Arizona Cardinals (7-9) – Not all records mean the same thing to each team, I view 7-9 as a nice step forward from a Cardinal team that I expected 4-5 wins from.
In the playoffs or at least in the hunt….
18. Houston Texans (9-7) – They are playoff bound but they look broken. That 31-2 loss made them look like the island of misfit toys on Christmas. BTW 3-5 in their last eight games.
17. Atlanta Falcons (8-8) – I wasn’t sold on Michael Penix and we of course need to see more, but the kid can sling it!
16. Miami Dolphins (8-8) – I’ll go off the radar a bit here, maybe Mike McDaniel deserves some credit here for getting back to .500 in a season he played a lot of without Tua and almost as much production from Jonnu Smith as he did Tyreek Hill.
15. Seattle Seahawks (9-7) – They really have to be scratching their heads right now about that loss to the Giants that is likely costing them a playoff spot.
14. Denver Broncos (9-7) – A lot of pressure to beat the Broncos subs.
Peaking at the right time…
13. Cincinnati Bengals (8-8) – They need some help to get Joe Burrow to the playoffs in a year where he should be in the MVP conversation but isn’t. He could top 5,000 yards Saturday.
12. Tampa Bay Bucs (9-7) – With a win over the Aints Sunday the Bucs make it a 6-1 finish to win the NFC South. Nice year from Baker Mayfield and a breakout year from Bucky Irving who just went over 1,000 yards while sharing time in the backfield with Rachaad White.
Playing for something…
11. Pittsburgh Steelers (10-6) – Limping to the finish line. Russell Wilson has been better than expected, but I fear that he is good enough to win games, just not against the really good teams.
10. Los Angeles Rams (10-6) – Kyren Williams powering the Rams offense with 1,299 yards and 14 touchdowns this season. He also probably enjoyed the Sugar Bowl.
9. Washington Commanders (11-5) – It is amazing what a difference finding the “guy” at quarterback can make. Jayden Daniels has almost 4,400 total yards and 31 total touchdowns.
8. Los Angeles Chargers (10-6) – Whoever meets them in the playoffs has to beat them because they will not beat themselves. Jim Harbaugh has done an amazing job and he is just getting started.
7. Green Back Packers (11-5) – Their 5 losses are to the Vikings, Lions and Eagles. Zero bad losses, but does that mean they are just clearly a step behind those teams?
6. Baltimore Ravens (11-5) – No one doubts the talents and accomplishments of Lamar Jackson, but he has playoff demons to get past.
5. Buffalo Bills (13-3) – Yes, the Bills could be as high as two. Also, I believe Josh Allen to be the MVP.
4. Philadelphia Eagles (13-3) – I know why they are sitting Saquan Barkley, I just do not agree with it.
3. Detroit Lions (14-2) – A personal thank you to Amon-Ra St. Brown for getting the News 2 Dirtbags into the fantasy football championship.
2. Minnesota Vikings (14-2) – Amazing year in Minnesota and they could be a Wild Card with a loss this weekend.
1. Kansas City Chiefs (15-1) – Who would you rather have Andy Reid or Bill Belichick? I know my answer.
