DeAndre Hopkins formally announced that he’s joining the Tennessee Titans.
On Thursday, days after his expected decision to sign with the Titans broke, the wide receiver confirmed the news on Instagram Live.
“It’s official. I’m a Titan,” Hopkins said before pantomiming signing a contract (h/t Bussin’ With The Boys). “Be on the lookout. We’re back.”

Hopkins reportedly agreed to a two-year, $26 million deal worth up to $32 million with incentives. He picked Tennessee over the New England Patriots, who reportedly offered an incentive-laden $15 million salary in 2023.
After serving a six-game suspension to start the 2022 season, Hopkins caught 64 of 96 targets for 717 yards and three touchdowns for the Arizona Cardinals.
Julio Jones, whose brief stint in Tennessee didn’t go well, is the only active wide receiver with more career receiving yards than Hopkins. The 31-year-old would climb from 36th to 24th on the all-time leaderboard if submitting his seventh 1,000-yard campaign.
Hopkins provides a top target for a Tennessee passing attack that floundered mightily without A.J. Brown in 2022. He’ll look to bring the Titans back into the playoffs after they ended last season on a seven-game losing streak.
