Coach Prime weighs in
The Tennessee Titans announced this morning that they have fired general manager Ran Carthon. Deion Sanders, who is the head coach at Colorado and the father of one of the top prospects in the 2025 NFL draft Shedeur Sanders, had this reaction on Twitter/X:

Coach Prime has said that he will be involved in where both his son and Travis Hunter, another top prospect in this draft, ultimately end up in the draft. This reaction doesn’t really tell us anything about how Sanders feels about the move, so we can’t know if this moved the needle on his feelings about the Titans either way.
So far, most of the 2025 NFL mock drafts that I have seen have the Titans preferring Miami quarterback Cam Ward over Sanders. We are still early in the draft process, and Titans’ coach Brian Callahan said yesterday that their feelings on the quarterbacks in this draft won’t be finalized until they go through the entire process. They could have a leaning one way or the other right now based on tape, but there is so much more to whether or not a guy can be a franchise quarterback than just the tape.
