Wide receiver DJ Moore joined the Chicago Bears in part of the blockbuster trade with the Carolina Panthers that sent the No. 1 overall pick to Charlotte. Today he made his debut – and it went fairly well.
In the first quarter of today’s game against the Tennessee Titans, the newly-minted Bears receiver caught a screen pass from quarterback Justin Fields, waited for a few blockers and then took off.
Moore found a massive hole on the left side that he hit with ease, taking the ball 62 yards for a touchdown. Not bad for his first-ever play for the Bears in live action.
Fans were impressed and believe that Moore is the big-time wide receiver that the team needs in order to help Fields reach his potential as a franchise quarterback.

“Justin Fields gonna have a Hurts like breakout szn,” one fan replied.
“Dj Moore is going to show out this season,” wrote another.
“Ball placement is hall of fame worthy i would say,” a third declared.
The Bears knew what they were getting with Moore. In five seasons in Carolina he had 364 receptions for 5,201 yards and 21 touchdowns with three straight 1,000-yard seasons between 2019 and 2021.
Moore looked every bit like the kind of receiver that the Bears need on that play.
