Could another Titan be headed to Baltimore?
Ben Solak of ESPN wrote an article laying out the perfect landing spot for every player that has been allowed to seek a trade this offseason. In case you missed it, earlier this week it was announced that the Tennessee Titans had given Harold Landry and his agent permission to seek a trade. Landry, who turns 29 in June, has two years left on the contract that he signed before the 2022 season. His cap number for the next two years is set to be just over $24 million in each of those years.
The team that Solak tabbed as the perfect landing spot for Landry is the Baltimore Ravens because that is where every good player that leaves the Titans ends up – going all the way back to guys like Steve McNair, Derrick Mason, and Samari Rolle, and of course last offseason, Derrick Henry. I hate the Ravens and hate it when players leave here to go there.
With that being said, if the Titans could get the return that Solak listed, a 4th round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, that would soften the blow a little bit. Landry was still productive last season with 9 sacks but has not been the impact player he was before his torn ACL before the 2022 season.
The Titans need to upgrade pretty much everywhere, including at EDGE. While trading Landry away probably hurts them for the 2025 season, it gives them more ammo to add good players to help them compete in the future.
