With the NFL trade deadline set for Oct. 31, it’s very possible Derrick Henry is approaching his final days as a member of the Titans.
Over the past few days, Henry has been mentioned as a potential trade candidate. After all, the Titans have already shipped out All-Pro safety Kevin Byard.
On Friday’s edition of “The Herd,” FS1 personality Colin Cowherd said the Cowboys should pursue Henry.
“Tennessee is open for business,” Cowherd said. “The Jags are winning that division and the Colts and Houston are better. Tony Pollard is a two, a dynamic, home-run hitting two.”
“Tennessee is open for business… Tony Pollard is a two.”

Cowherd isn’t the only person who believes Henry could end up in Dallas.
I have a bad feeling that the Cowboys swoop in and trade for Derrick Henry.
Tony Pollard hasn’t met lofty expectations, especially in short yardage.

It’s also worth noting that Tony Pauline of Sportskeeda recently mentioned the Cowboys as a “sleeper team” for Henry.
“The sleeper team expected to be in the market for Henry are the Dallas Cowboys,” Pauline wrote. “The belief from many is Henry could end up in the NFC East with the Cowboys if Tennessee is willing to eat some of the money remaining on Henry’s contract, estimated to be around $9 million.”

Henry has been an incredible player for the Titans over the past few years. That being said, he’s about to become a free agent.
If the Titans are eager to rebuild, they should consider moving on from Henry and stockpiling draft picks.
