Now that he’s not playing football, Taylor Lewan is finding another way to keep busy this fall.
The 32-year-old offensive lineman remains unsigned after nine seasons with the Tennessee Titans, who cut him in February. On Tuesday, Lewan revealed some new plans: getting a head start on Halloween.
“Tomorrow the Lewan family start decorating for Spooktober. I CANT believe it’s that time of year again,” Lewan said. “What a time to have a time.”

It’s not that time of year yet for most people, as Halloween remains seven weeks away. But to each their own.
A former first-round pick, Lewan played 105 games with Tennessee. However, the three-time Pro Bowler missed all but two games with a right knee injury last season.
Earlier this year, the former Michigan sued star orthopedist Dr. James Andrews for medical malpractice, claiming the October 2020 surgery to repair his torn ACL caused “severe and permanent” damage.
Lewan recently confirmed he’s not retired after Barstool Sports posted a misleading clip of him jokingly announcing his retirement without the full context.
Perhaps he’ll end up halting those Halloween plans if an NFL team calls about a job opener in the upcoming weeks. Or he could take a page from Myles Garrett and dedicate his decorations to taunting opponents.
