Jon Robinson was the general manager for the Tennessee Titans from 2016-2022. He joined the organization after spending 10 years with the New England Patriots serving in various roles and a few seasons as the director of player personnel for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was fired by the Titans in 2022 after the team went 7-10 and missed the playoffs.
Robinson didn’t work in professional football in 2023 or 2024, but he completed an interview with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday.

Robinson went 66-48 during his tenure with the Titans, and only had one losing season. His final season was when the team went 7-10, and the organization chose to keep Mike Vrabel on as head coach. They fired Robinson, who was eventually replaced by Ran Carthon, who has since been replaced by Mike Borgonzi.
His interview with the Jaguars was for their vacant general manager position. If hired, he will face his former team and AFC South rival twice a year every year he holds the position. The Jaguars have a lot of work to do, even more than the Titans, so they need to get that position filled as soon as possible.
