NFL quarterback Jameis Winston hasn’t had the career most thought he would. A standout player at Florida State, Winson was drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he played from 2015-2019.
The Bucs opted not to re-sign Winston and instead brought in veteran quarterback Tom Brady.
Upon leaving the Bucs, Winston signed with the New Orleans Saints. He endured a torn ACL with MCL damage in 2021 and in Week 1 of 2022, he suffered four back fractures. His playing time dwindled and he eventually made his way to Cleveland in 2024, where he took over for Deshaun Watson when he tore his Achilles tendon.
Now, though, Winston is a free agent and has made many comments about where he’d like to go. One recurring spot is Nashville, Tennessee, as you can see him telling comedian Bert Kreischer.

Winston says, in part, “I would like to just be in the south and go to Tennessee or something.”
“Oh, Tennessee would be great,” Kreischer replies.
“And I wouldn’t mind Houston either. But I want to be in a vibrant city, man. Cleveland was nice, but I would love to have my family stay in downtown Nashville,” he said.
Granted, Winston mentions several cities that he’d like to go to, but Nashville definitely seems high on his list. It will be interesting to see what the Titans do with this information, if anything.
