There is no doubt that the Tennessee Titans were a disappointment in 2024. Their 3-14 record led to massive changes within the organization and those will likely continue during roster construction.
For fans, the good news is that the Titans have the ammunition to turn things around by having solid draft capital and salary cap space. They also have some NFL history on their side.
Every NFL season, a team that is coming off a dismal campaign that landed them in the top five of the NFL draft seems to bounce back and make a playoff run.
Last season, it was the Washington Commanders. The Commanders rode rookie phenom Jayden Daniels and made a huge jump in the standings. Analyst Emory Hunt told CBS Sports HQ which teams he believes could make that jump in 2025.
Who can pull off a “Worst to First” this season like the Commanders?

“That roster, to me, is not that bad at all. They just need a quarterback,” Hunt said. “Any quarterback you add, Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders, makes this team a playoff team.”
He’s not wrong. The Titans’ roster is not that bad and injuries did take a toll in 2024. Plus, the AFC South isn’t the strongest division in the NFL. However, unless the Titans make some major changes to the offensive line, they could still struggle.
New general manager Mike Borgonzi should have a great understanding of how to attack this offseason coming from Kansas City. Not only did the Chiefs franchise go from worst to first, they went from worst to dynasty.
