Ben Arthur of Fox Sports believes Titans quarterback Malik Willis could be in danger of not making the 53-man roster this fall.
“Malik Willis, a 3rd rd pick last year, is the odd man out as long as [Ryan] Tannehill is on the roster. [Will] Levis is going to be on the team, and the Titans don’t typically keep three quarterbacks on the 53,” Arthur wrote.
Earlier this offseason, a report surfaced claiming Tennessee’s coaching staff “lost faith” in Willis. Now, there are rumblings about the Liberty star potentially getting cut.
With that said, most of the NFL world thinks the Titans would be foolish to move on from Willis after just one season.
The incompetence. Smh I can see Seattle making a run at him. https://t.co/701KRMEzcB
