On March 12 at 4:00 p.m. ET, less than one month away, NFL teams can begin to sign free agents.
The 2024 season is behind us and every NFL team looks to improve its roster to give them the best chance at winning the Super Bowl in 2025, which means seeking out free agents to improve rosters.
The Tennessee Titans have 31 impending free agents, but only one of them cracked CBS Sports’ top 100 free agents list: Sebastian Joseph-Day landed at No. 92.
Day joined the Titans as a free agent during the 2024 offseason, signing a one-year deal worth roughly $4 million. He started 12 games this past season, recording 44 tackles (18 solo), 2.5 sacks, one pass defensed, and six stuffs. He played roughly 46% of defensive snaps and occasionally assisted on special teams.
Before joining the Titans, Joseph-Day played three seasons with the Los Angeles Rams (winning a Super Bowl), almost two seasons with the Los Angeles Chargers, and appeared in two games for the San Francisco 49ers.
Over half (16) of the Titans’ free agents are on the defensive side of the ball, 11 are offensive players and the rest are strictly on special teams. With so many pending free agents, it’s interesting that Joseph-Day is the only player to make this list.
