The Tennessee Titans will have to wait to see one of the candidates for their No 1 overall selection perform on the field.
On Sunday, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that Shedeur Sanders is going to bypass working out at the combine and focus on team interviews.
#Colorado QB and potential top pick Shedeur Sanders plans to focus on his interviews with teams at the NFL Scouting Combine, helping them continue to learn him as a person.

Sanders does have four years of tape to show his on-field production and by waiting to throw at his scripted Pro Day, he will be familiar with the stable of receivers that will be on-hand in Colorado. The 2024 Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, who completed 74 percent of his passes for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, will now have at least four NFL caliber wide receivers to throw to during his showcase and be able to do it on his own terms.
It’s an interesting strategy and one that likely won’t impact his draft stock much. In a quarterback class that is full of questions, Sanders will leave the combine where he entered as one of the top prospects at the position.
The Titans already met with Sanders at the East-West Shrine Bowl and will likely do so again this week at the combine before sending a contingent to Boulder for the workout. They could also bring him into the facility in Nashville for a top-30 visit.
