The Tennessee Titans are in the midst of a down season after competing for a playoff spot in Mike Vrabel’s previous five seasons as head coach.
Despite the team’s poor 3-7 record, though, the Titans don’t plan on moving on from Vrabel as head coach – at least not before the 2024 season. According to a report from NFL insider Dianna Russini, Vrabel will return as Titans head coach next season.
“Based on multiple conversations with high-ranking Titans officials, the franchise strongly and collectively believes it has the right coach for long-term success,” Russini said on social media this morning.

Vrabel owns a 51-41 record as the team’s head coach, but the past two seasons have showed a downward trend. Tennessee finished 7-10 in 2022 and might be lucky to get to seven wins this season.
After going 10-17 in his last 27 games as the team’s head coach, there were questions as to whether or not he’d be there next season.
Those questions can now be put to bed.
