Mike Vrabel and Rob Gronkowski crossed paths just a few times during Gronkowski’s NFL career, but respects the now-former Tennessee Titans coach for being a New England Patriots legend. But does he see the former Patriots linebacker a future Patriots head coach?
Appearing on Up & Adams, Gronkowski expressed confidence that Vrabel will get a head coaching job. As for the destination, he narrowed it down to either the Washington Commanders or the Los Angeles Chargers.
“I don’t think the Panthers, no. Maybe, possibly Washington would be a great place for him. And also the Los Angeles Chargers I feel would be a great scenario for him as well,” Gronkowski said.
The Chargers fired head coach Brandon Staley midseason after a series of poor results. The Commanders fired head coach Ron Rivera after the season.

Mike Vrabel did a great job of changing the culture with the Tennessee Titans, leading them to three straight playoff appearances. But the team has had back-to-back losing seasons and the owner decided to part ways with him.
Not every head coach gets a new head coaching job right after being fired, but Vrabel would definitely be a top candidate to be the next one.
