There were rumors floating around this week that Ryan Tannehill requested his release from the Titans.
On Friday afternoon, Tannehill shut down that rumor.
“I was kind of caught off guard by those reports as well,” Tannehill told reporters. “Obviously I have a desire to play, but I just don’t know what that looks like at this point.”

Tannehill recently admit that it’s tough being the backup quarterback. However, he wants to handle the situation with class.
“I wanna handle the situation with class, right? It’s not a fun situation to be in, but I want to be a pro and handle it with class and still be a guy that he can look to. So, not an ideal situation, but you know, I want to try to handle it well.”
In six games this season, Tannehill has 1,128 passing yards, two touchdowns and six interceptions. Levis, meanwhile, has 699 passing yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions in three starts.
The Titans will face the Jaguars this Sunday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET.
