NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Titans have hired Mike Borgonzi as their fifteenth general manager.
Borgonzi spent the last 16 seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs and served as assistant general manager since 2021. He was one of six finalists who interviewed with the team this week.

Prior to his current role, Borgonzi climbed the professional ladder. He first served as a pro scout before being promoted to director of pro scouting; he also served as director of player personnel and director of football operations for the Chiefs.
“During Mike’s 16 years in the league, he has been a key part of transforming the Chiefs from a two-win team to a three-time Super Bowl champion,” Titans President of Football Operation, Chad Brinker, said in a Friday press release. “During our meetings, he articulated a clear plan to build a championship standard in Nashville through consistency, discipline, and hard work. I’ve admired him for many years and I’m thrilled to add him to the team as our general manager.”
Borgonzi has been a part of three Super Bowl championships for Kansas City, including the number one seed in the playoffs for this season.

Borgonzi replaces former GM Ran Carthon who was fired on Jan. 7.
