The Tennessee Titans 2024 season wasn’t at all what anyone thought it would be. The 3-14 season resulted in the firing of general manager Ran Carthon and the Titans are in the process of finding his replacement, while Brian Callahan will remain as head coach.
While everyone expected a slow start under a new head coach, no one was prepared for what the Titans produced on the field this season. From poor quarterback play and protection to poor special teams’ play to overall poor execution and second-half implosions, it felt like the hits just kept coming.
It wasn’t all bad, though; there were a few bright spots. The emergence of Tyjae Spears. T’Vondre Sweat’s seamless entry into the starting lineup. The cohesion of the defense. Some of these things were anticipated, but others were not. Let’s take a quick look at the biggest surprises of the 2024 season, both good and bad.
