The Tennessee Titans want a generational talent at the top of the 2025 NFL draft. That has been a constant theme throughout the offseason so far.
While draft analysts debate this draft class, one player has remained at the top of many draft boards: Colorado WR/CB Travis Hunter.
Hunter is coming off a magical 2024 campaign. Not only did he bring home the Heisman Trophy, but he grabbed the Biletnikoff Award as well as Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year after playing 713 offensive snaps and 748 defensive snaps for Colorado.
That has caught the eye of head coach Brian Callahan, who spoke about Hunter during his press availability at the NFL combine.
#Titans head coach Brian Callahan thinks it is “very realistic” to think Travis Hunter can play significant snaps at BOTH wide receiver and cornerback in the NFL.

“Very realistic,” Callahan said when asked about Hunter and his ability to play both ways in the NFL. “Very realistic, I think he’s a unique player. There’s not a whole lot of other players that can compare what he’s done.”
The dynamic two-way star had a tremendous season, he pulled in 96 receptions for 1,258 yards and 15 touchdowns on offense, while recording 36 total tackles, 11 passes defended, and four interceptions for the defense.
“He’s got the ability to play both, and then you find out where he fits if you were to get him. He’s got a real unique ability to do a lot of different things.” Callahan continued.
Where would he fit with the Titans? Callahan also touched on that, “He probably starts at corner, and you’ll see ways to inject him into the offense as he gets more comfortable.”
Although he is often overlooked in mock drafts, Hunter is clearly on the Titans’ radar. He will have a chance to impress this week at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
