The Tennessee Titans completed their initial round of interviews for their vacant general manager position. There were 10 interviews that took place from Friday through today. All 10 people who were reportedly requested agreed to interview here despite a narrative that no one would want the job.
Ian Rapoport is reporting the first three guys that will be brought in for a second interview. They are Kanas City Chiefs assistant GM Mike Borgonzi, Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant GM John Spytek, and Chicago Bears assistant GM Ian Cunningham. Rapoport says there will be others that are brought back in for a second interview.
Tom Pelissero added that Indianapolis Colts assistant GM Ed Dodds and Terrance Gray of the Buffalo Bills are also expected to be brought back.
One note here, Dianna Russini reported last week that Reggie McKenize from the Miami Dolphins was thought to be the front-runner for the job. He is not on this initial list of guys being brought back in for a second interview. That is something to watch.
