What is there even to say at this point?
The Tennessee Titans are a really bad football team. They are bad on offense. They are bad on defense. They are horrific on special teams. If they don’t fire Colt Anderson this week I will be shocked.
Once again, they came out hot on offense. Calvin Ridley finally looked like a difference maker. He was over 100 yards in the first quarter. Maybe he was right – he just needs targets early in the game.
And once again, the hot start was very short lived. The Titans had a first and goal from just outside the one right before the half down 35-14. They were getting the ball to start the second half, so a touchdown there and a touchdown to start the second half would have made it a game. Instead, they tried four straight passes. None of them came that close to being completed, and that was the last we saw of them having a chance to score.
It’s just bad all the way around. There really is not much else to say at this point.
