The Tennessee Titans are in desperate need of a solution at the quarterback position. A solid offensive line is a prime focus as well, but they are looking to improve at quarterback and every option is on the table, including bringing in a veteran on a short contract to help mentor and develop Will Levis.
To that end, there have been mentions of the Titans seeking out players like New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Kay Adams had former Titans quarterback Warren Moon on her show this week and asked him if he thought Rodgers was the right move for this team.
Aaron Rodgers to the Titans??? What does Warren Moon think… @WMoon1 @heykayadams @Titans

“I don’t know if he’s the move for this young football team, you know, to bring in Aaron at this point,” Moon replied. “I think Aaron would be better with a more veteran football team, so I don’t think Tennessee is necessarily the place for him.”
If the look on Moon’s face is any indication of what was going on in his head, then he definitely thinks it’s a terrible idea for the Titans to go after Rodgers.
Rodgers is signed with the Jets through the 2025 season, and while it might be interesting to see how he would mentor Will Levis, Rodgers comes with a lot of baggage and only some of it is monetary.
Whether the Titans decide to go this route or not remains to be seen, but Mike Borgonzi and Chad Brinker have already committed to building through the draft. It’s unlikely they even look in Rodgers’ direction this offseason.
