It was another brutal start for the Titans.
Well, you have to give the Tennessee Titans credit for continuing to fight in the loss to the Washington Commanders. They were down 28-0 early in the second quarter. It would have been easy for them to give up at that point.
They did not. They fought back and cut it to 28-13 at one point. Ultimately, they were not able to keep that momentum and ended up losing 42-19. While there are no moral victories in the NFL, it is important to see this team continue to fight under Brian Callahan. It shows that they have not quit on the season.
The biggest issue for the Titans today was the run defense. They gave up 268 yards on the ground with 86 of those yards coming from Chris Rodriguez, Jr. I’ll be honest, I had never even heard of him before this game today.
Will Levis played pretty well again today. He threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns. It continues to trend towards Levis getting another year under center next year. He at least deserves to get a year where he doesn’t have pressure in his face every single play.
