Another uninspired performance for the Titans.
As I am writing this, the New York Giants are about to pull off a huge upset over the Indianapolis Colts. That is huge for the Tennessee Titans position in the 2025 NFL Draft. As for the game today, the Titans did what they have done most of the season – looked pretty good at times and looked pretty bad more of the time in their 20-13 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. They had a chance to score the game-tying touchdown in the last minute but Mason Rudolph missed a wide-open Chig Oknokwo. That has been the story of the season.
Tyjae Spears was having a great game before having to leave with a concussion. Spears got to 100 yards but then lost 5 yards on his next carry when he sustained the concussion, so he ended the day at 95 yards. It would have been his first career 100-yard rushing day.
Mason Rudolph did Mason Rudolph things. He threw for 193 yards with one touchdown and one interception. To be fair, his interception was tipped at the line.
The defense allowed Mac Jones to throw for 174 yards and two touchdowns. They also gave up 122 yards rushing and did not force a turnover.
But hey, at least the Titans got some help in the draft order today.
