The college football All-Star circuit is underway, giving NFL scouts and coaches an opportunity to get hands-on evaluations of prospects in preparation for the 2025 NFL draft.
While there are many of these events, the Reese’s Senior Bowl and East-West Shrine Bowl are by far the biggest and draw the best prospects. This is also a great time for younger NFL coaches to not only gain experience but also get to know the players.
For teams, having their staff be selected to coach one-on-one in one of these games is an advantage on draft day. Working with the players on the field during practice gives a much better insight than gameday tape.
The Tennessee Titans enter these games with the first overall pick and a long list of needs across their roster, so any extra access to players can be helpful. On Wednesday, news broke that Tennessee will have multiple offensive coaches at the East-West Shrine Bowl coaching the West team under head coach Shane Bowen.
The two head coaches for the Shrine Bowl will be Falcons special teams coordinator Marquice Williams and Giants defensive coordinator Shane Bowen. Williams will coach the East, Bowen the West.

While the entire staff has not been announced, and it is not clear which offensive coaches will be going, the team will still have a chance to work with potential No. 1 overall selection quarterback Shedeur Sanders throughout the week. In addition, it will give the team on-field exposure to a large group of offensive tackles, wide receivers, and edge rushers, all positions of need heading into the offseason.

It was announced that assistant coach Payton McCollum will be the quarterback coach for the West squad.
The Titans will also get a boost at the Senior Bowl, where coaching assistant Perry Carter will serve as the National Team’s Special Teams Coordinator.
The 100th East-West Shrine Bowl will take place on January 30, 2025, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX.
